These terms govern Bit of Nothing, a website operated by Fluent Spanish Express LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Questions may be sent to nothing@bitofnothing.com.
What you are buying
Bit of Nothing offers a one-time symbolic digital purchase denominated in US dollars. It does not provide a physical item, practical utility, intellectual-property right, ownership interest, investment, financial product or promise of future value or return. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to make a purchase.
Purchase, delivery and certificate
You choose an amount before checkout. After payment is confirmed, that amount reduces the shared Nothing counter, joins the public record and generates a unique, numbered digital certificate. Delivery begins immediately after confirmation. The certificate records participation in the experiment; it is not an asset or evidence of ownership.
Payments and refunds
Stripe Managed Payments acts as merchant of record for the checkout transaction and handles payment processing, applicable indirect taxes, receipts, fraud and payment disputes under its own terms. Our refund policy also applies. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer right, including any withdrawal or refund right that cannot legally be waived.
Public record and messages
After purchase you may voluntarily submit a display name, country and short message for publication. By submitting public content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, format and reproduce it only in connection with Bit of Nothing and its promotion. Messages are published immediately after submission and may be reviewed or removed afterward. We may reject, edit for formatting or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, promotional, infringing or otherwise inappropriate. Submission does not guarantee publication.
Accuracy, acceptable use and reversals
You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful content or attempt fraudulent, duplicate or unauthorised transactions. We may correct the counter, public record or certificate data to address technical errors, duplicates, fraud, cancellations, chargebacks or refunds. A reversed transaction may invalidate its certificate and restore its amount to the shared Nothing total.
Availability and end of the experiment
We work to keep the website, record and certificates available, but uninterrupted or permanent availability is not guaranteed. The experiment ends when no Nothing remains. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fluent Spanish Express LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by service interruptions or third-party systems. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, providers or law. Changes do not alter the essential terms of an already confirmed purchase unless legally required or more favourable to you. These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA, to the extent permitted by law. Consumers retain the mandatory protections and rights available in their country of residence.
