What am I buying?
A measurable bit of Nothing. The purchase is symbolic and does not include a physical product or a digital product with practical utility.
What do I receive?
Your contribution becomes part of the shared public record. You also receive a unique, numbered digital certificate proving which bit of Nothing you helped remove.
Where does the money go?
Payments are ordinary revenue of the project and its operator. They are not donations, investments or contributions to a charitable cause. Your purchase records your symbolic participation, reduces the shared Nothing total and creates a numbered digital certificate.
Does it have any utility or future value?
No. It is not an investment, an ownership interest, a financial product or a promise of future value.
How much Nothing does my purchase remove?
The amount you choose removes the corresponding measurable share of the fixed Nothing total. The live counter updates after payment is confirmed.
Is everyone removing the same Nothing?
Yes. There is one shared total. Every confirmed contribution reduces it for everyone; nobody receives a separate supply of Nothing.
What does the certificate represent?
It records who got rid of Nothing, how much was removed and when it happened. It is proof of the transaction, not proof of ownership of an asset.
What happens when no Nothing remains?
The experiment ends for everyone. There will be no more Nothing available to remove, but the shared record and its certificates will remain.
Are payments secure?
Checkout is handled by Stripe Managed Payments through Link. Bit of Nothing never receives or stores your full card details.
Can I request a refund?
Yes. Refund requests are reviewed under our refund policy, Stripe Managed Payments terms and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
Which currency do you use?
All prices and public totals are shown in US dollars.
