Privacy

Effective date: September 29, 2026.

Who is responsible

Fluent Spanish Express LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, is responsible for the personal data used to operate Bit of Nothing. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to nothing@bitofnothing.com.

Data we process

Depending on how you use the site, we may process a checkout or order identifier, payment status, amount, currency, first name or display label, country, timestamps, certificate number and token, optional public message, moderation status, page path, referring domain, campaign parameters, interaction type and limited technical security records. We do not receive or store full card details.

Purposes and legal bases

We process purchase and certificate information to perform the contract you request; public names, countries and messages with your consent; security, webhook and error records for our legitimate interests in protecting the service and maintaining an accurate record; and transaction information where necessary to meet legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for future public display at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Payments and service providers

Stripe Managed Payments and Link process checkout, card details, taxes, receipts, fraud prevention and payment disputes under Stripe’s own privacy terms. Banahosting provides website hosting. These providers receive only the information needed to provide their services and act under their own legal obligations and applicable agreements. We do not sell personal data.

What appears publicly

After payment you may voluntarily choose a public display name, decide whether to show your country and submit a short message. If you consent, the public record may display those details together with the amount, share of Nothing removed, date and certificate. Your email address and card details are never displayed. You may ask us to remove or anonymise optional public information, although transaction records may need to be retained.

First-party analytics and storage

We use limited first-party analytics to count anonymous visits and understand the purchase funnel. A random temporary session identifier may be stored in your browser together with attribution information such as page path, referring domain and campaign parameters. We do not use advertising profiles, cross-site tracking or permanently store full IP addresses. Analytics records are deleted after 13 months. Essential security and preference storage may remain in use where needed to operate or protect the site.

International transfers

Fluent Spanish Express LLC is established in the United States, and providers may process data outside your country. Where required, international transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms.

Retention

Analytics records are retained for no more than 13 months. Pending transactions are normally removed after 7 days, failed transaction records after 30 days and completed webhook event records after 90 days. Confirmed transaction, refund and accounting records are retained for the periods required by applicable law and to resolve disputes. Certificate and public-record data remain while the project operates or while needed to preserve the integrity of the record, subject to valid deletion or anonymisation requests.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the data-protection authority that applies where you live. Bit of Nothing does not make decisions about you solely through automated processing. Stripe may apply its own automated fraud-prevention measures under its policies.

Security, children and changes

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we hold. Bit of Nothing is not directed to children, and purchases are limited to people aged 18 or the age of legal majority where they live. We may update this notice when the service, providers or legal requirements change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
