About
Nothing gets smaller when we do it together.
The internet is full of things that promise to be useful, important or transformative. Bit of Nothing makes a simpler proposal: give Nothing one shared total and see what happens when people reduce it together.
One shared Nothing
Nothing, made measurable.
We treat Nothing as if it were real. We gave it a counter, a beginning and an end. It starts at 100%.
Every confirmed contribution removes a measurable part from that same Nothing. Nobody receives a separate supply. Your action changes the total for everyone.
Why “bit”?
A small piece of an internet-sized idea.
A bit can be a small piece. It is also the smallest unit of digital information. Bit of Nothing is both: a tiny piece of Nothing and an idea born on the internet.
What remains
Your part becomes permanent proof.
Every confirmed removal joins the shared public record. You receive a unique, numbered certificate that keeps your place in what everyone changed together.
- What did you buy?
- A bit of Nothing.
- What did everyone get?
- A little less Nothing.
- Can you prove your part?
- Yes.
When it reaches zero
No one gets there alone.
Nothing disappears only through the sum of every contribution. When the shared total reaches zero, the experiment ends. The record remains.
Nothing only disappears if enough of us decide to make it smaller.
A precise note. The certificate is numbered proof of participation. It is not an investment, an ownership interest, a useful product or a promise of future value.
